Death, taxes, and captdalton posting about LSU

re: How does this happen?: Entergy

Entergy is quite literally the biggest joke of a company I've ever dealt with. Both as their customer and them as my client.

No surprise in what you're dealing with at all. If you continue to have issues call the Public Service Commissioner and let him/her know what is going on.

Ik i've mentioned this story before but, back in college I moved into a rent house. 3-4 days after moving in I came home to no power. Got the run around about getting it back on. After many phone calls I was told the power was shut off bc the previous renter had been far behind on their bill, as well as the rental company not paying the bill while the power was on during the time the house was empty... Entergy told me they would not turn power on until they got paid. I called the Public Service Commissioner and had power turned on to my house within in an hour that evening.

Kelly will have better talent at LSU.

Sure BK ended up being a shite coach, but he still brought in talent. We have had some top tier WRs under BK. Also, I think he had a Heisman winner during his short time at LSU, while Deboer has not - Can you check me on this?
Mine had been high, but last month it was $38, and I don't feel like I did anything different. Hope it stays like that
Man, I always really liked this restaurant for lunch. The BBLTA was my go to, brisket, bacon, lettuce, tomato, apples. Seems weird but it worked.

Been skeptical on going to the restaurant that is there now, Bullfish bistro. has anyone been? is it worth going?
Like the NAACP is going to convince players that are making hundreds of thousands of dollars - to well over a million dollars to quit playing in the SEC. Won't happen. Dumb thread.

What makes you wish death on someone for playing in the mud? Curious to how fricked up in the head you are

And the same LSU fans blowing Kiffin right now who were also the same LSU fans who blew Brian Kelly will be the same fans blowing the frick out of O when he takes over as interim

Funny you say that. It was Ole Miss fans "blowing" Kiffin literally up to the point of him making his decision to leave Ole Miss

If O takes over as interim, and has us back in the natty 2 yrs after that, I'd take that all day. Somehow that sounds more realistic than Ole Miss winning a national championship before LSU winning another one

Sure. If thats what helps you sleep at night

Our multiple national championships in football and baseball is what makes LSU the better program.

Ole miss only has 1 football natty recognized by the NCAA tho they "claim" 2 more, and only 1 baseball national championship.

Also, I would say a major mark of a good program would be how many athletes have gone on to play professionally. I'm not looking up the stats, but I'd be willing to bet that LSU has more than Ole Miss in both baseball and football.

Can you actually be considered a good program if you haven't been good everywhere you have played?

Considering these teams have not been in those other 2 conference in damn near 100 years for one, and over 100 yrs for the other. The answer is yes.

The big thing ab unions I do not understand is them trying to force non union workers to play their little fricking games - like the above example. I've told them before that since I am not union, I don't play by their bullshite made up rules, and if they don't like it they can get off my jobsite and file a grievance, it has yet to happen.

Another sigh of relief thread that LSU did not make the post season.

I guess when you have 8 nattys, people are relieved that you did not make the post season, and feel like they have to make a thread ab it.

Remember, this is an abnormal season for LSU by not making the post season. No one is making threads ab South Carolina baseball not making the post season.

I feel like this is a major sigh of relief  I'd be glad LSU isn't in the mix anymore either if I was a fan of another team, given LSU Baseball's post season history.

Well Wade was fired by a previous LSU president and Athletic director. I don't think any LSU fans wanted him fired the first time. So you are, once again, incredibly wrong.

And I don't think we hired O as a head coach, I could be wrong? Sure O was dumpster fire as a head coach after winning the natty. But that does not mean he wouldn't fit elsewhere at a lesser position.
frick yea. This is awesome

If I'm driving hours away to watch multiple games of baseball throughout a long weekend, I would love to be able to have a beer while watching a game at some point - There is just something incredibly American about that.

But if i am planning a trip hours away to watch a baseball tournament, why wouldn't I just go to Omaha. LSU has fans there whether LSU makes it or not.

Typically people do drink more while they are on a leisure trip, rather than just watching a game on the couch at home. Asking the question in a way to make it seem like I'm an alcoholic is definitely some sissy ole miss behavior, wouldn't expect anything less from yall though.

I did that for football games all thru college. But something about a Saturday or Sunday baseball game during the day that makes me crave beer over liquor.

Big 10 started in 2011, SEC in 2019. While I agree it is relatively new, 7 years is plenty of time to implement it at conference championship events.

If they allow the individual schools to sell beer at athletic events, why not at their championship games/tournaments? Just seems dumb to me, no idea what could be holding them back.

I'm pretty sure the CWS, football natty, and final four sell beer
