You've only been in new Orleans a year? I thought you had been there much longer. I spent my first 30 years in Nola, but after being the victim of about five felonies, two involving guns, I moved to the suburbs. Wouldn't move back. I can easily get to the city in 45 minutes and subject myself to it for as long as I like. Then I can return to quiet.

Grew up in Chalmette and moved from BR to Metairie 4 years ago. Bought our house in the city last summer.
I love the festivals and the park but I'm sick of being nickeled and dimed. And I'm sick of the litter.
