Trying to change a long list of street names is a good way to get public sentiment against you. Lot of people are indifferent to the statues because they have no affect on their everyday lives. Start proposing shite that would make business owners have to re-do any marketing materials, advertising, stationary, business cards, and anything else with an address on it will get those indifferent people to start caring. Not to mention confusion that new street names would cause for potential customers trying to find them.
