From what I understand, St. George would be the more affluent area of the city and losing it would see a large amount of tax dollars fly away.

Metered parking is free after 6 pm and on weekends. I think this is standard is most downtowns.

These neighborhoods slammed up cheap, plain homes quickly. Unless you have something mid century/unique or in a historical area, it won't be able to complete with the new upscale subdivisions being built in Baton Rouge.
