Logic would dictate beings inhabit said dimensions.

So in a way, his weird opinion is correct.

So...yes?

Agreed.

It's Easter, deal with it. Don't let it bother you, just laugh at it in your head and move on.

I think you have a solid point. Work on it, but don’t ruin the relationship. Southern girls take longer to migrate off their parents belief system.

”I believe in logic”

Lol. You sound awful. Just fricking suck it up and pretend to be religious and don’t ruin Easter Sunday. Not everything has to be about you and no one gives a shite about your “intellectual debates.”

To believe means to accept without evidence. One does not “believe” in science. Rather, he experiences the evidence.

If you don’t believe and she does.....you should let her go so she can be with someone that does believe.

Just seems unfair to her. If she grows stronger in her faith she is always gonna wish you felt the same about it.

People who don’t understand faith and think we were all created from amoebas are the true idiots of society.

Just keep your stupid mouths shut and enjoy your atheism.

Guessing you have never read Augustine, Aquinas, Chesterton, etc if you think Catholicism is without logic. Go explore. Interact with ideas. Early Christianity gave us science.

My guess the MIL nor GF have read them either if they are watching Olsten’s prosperity gospel.

Try reading Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel. Former journalist that was an atheist, did hours of research on Christ and creation to disprove his wife's new faith.

Wow, hours of research. Were they whole hours or just half hours?

Yeah didn't have to read further you already disrespect her and her beliefs with this simple statement. I doubt this ever turns out well.

When preachers are forced upon you, observe them as you would any master of their craft.

If you had the chance to listen to Mozart play, you would probably watch. Even if you hated classical music, you might learn something about how sound evokes emotion.

You can learn so much by listening to a charlatan sell hope and fear at the same time. Even if you despise him, you can learn from him. You can learn what messages resonate with people and move them to surrender their time and money.

If only today's RCs (and other heterodoxes) actually believed Augustine.
