marriage will never work if this bothers you this much. cut and run.

Cut bait, both of you will be happier in the long run. Faith or lack there of is a huge part of people's lives. I just can't see a way where this ends well.

It’s not going to ever work, unless you repent and convert, heathen.
Save both you and her the future misery if you really care, and move along.

Huh? Science isn’t a religion or a belief system.
Logic and the scientific method can coexist with many religions.

I often find there is a great miscommunication on the part of both Protestants and Catholics when it comes to discussing “faith and works”. There is much more agreement than disagreement, but clear definitions aren’t established prior to the discussion so both parties retreat to their inherent positions.
How do you define faith and works? What are examples?

Nope. A divorce in my case.

Bite your tongue and keep pouring mimosas

I don't understand. Your issue is that they wanted to watch some religious programming?
Let them watch and go to a different room.
Not sure why that would bother you.

You wont be happy not being on the same page. It is hellish at times being married in this predicament.
As for the science stance....what does that exactly mean for you? The earth is very old? Macro evolution is true?
Ok. Those are peripheral issues to the faith. Those should not be a hinderance.
The faith of a Christian is not blind faith either but based on events and reason.

This morning, her mom and her sister came over and I cooked brunch/mimosas/etc for everyone and her mom wanted to watch “Joel Osteen’s Easter Service” a bit after we ate and I was very “put off” because
I used to date a Parkview girl my freshman year at LSU (we were same age). I'd go to church with them often because her mama would take us to Piccadilly afterwards. Easy compromise.

I’m a Christian and even I know this. Baffles me that people listen to him

Find a church that does not push a very strict orthodox, literal interpretation of the Bible. There are plenty of good modern applications of the principles of the Bible. Just search around until you find a church that fits you. They come in all shapes and sizes.
Ah the make your own version of god thing. That's not how it works friend. Sadly mega churches and the whole feel good vibe doesn't represent true christianity. We are called to take up our cross, to be persecuted. This is pretty well evidenced in this very thread

What kind of fig is “staunchly” agnostic? Did you mean to say atheist?
I’m basically agnostic and it’s because I don’t give a shite. Agnostic is the don’t give a shite brand, we have no room for your annoying staunchness
