Westridge is fun. Pecan Hollow is my go to.

Maybe a different hole? Number 7 is 417yds and on the course layout on the website the description says a well laced long drive is needed here. Or did you mean leave your approach shot short and just try and get up and in for par?

You're correct. It's hole 5.

-#7 miss your drive a just a little to the right and it is bouncing downhill right and into trees. This area eats up golf balls and i have seen many balls get lost that we thought we would find for sure.
-#12 do not hit driver. I have seen a lot of great drivers hit on this hole and it always gets eaten up and ball is lost.

Don't go for the green on 7. Just hit a 4 iron off the tee and LW onto the green. The approach always seems to play short.

Hit 4 iron or hybrid off 12 tee.

I watched The Insider the other night, and I thought he was excellent.

I have considered watching this several times when I logged into NF but didn't because I hate watching docs about stories that have been "done to death" ......multiple books, other docs, movies, etc.

Will I learn anything new from this one or is it just a retelling of the same story from a different view?

I finished it yesterday. I don't recall anything new. It's basically Zero Dark Thirty, but less entertaining.

Zack Greinke has done this as well.

Yep. Solves the mud ball issue as well. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Pelagos today.

Pretty sure it’s a penalty on you if anyone hits your caddie.

No. Only if you hit your own caddie.

The guy who won the mid-amateur and is playing this week played professionally on the KFT before regaining amateur status. It's already a bit of a farce.

This has always been the case. Former professional golfers can apply for Amateur status. I believe former LSU golfer John Peterson was recently granted his amateur status after earning more than $2 mil on professional tours.

Agree. Turnberry is an incredible course.

Jenny made me LOL. Well done.

Oh the big gotcha—tomatoes are fruit.

Tomatoes are treated as a vegetable the world over. Nobody comes down for breakfast and slices up raw tomatoes except some inbred farmer.

Knowledge is knowing that tomatoes are a fruit - Wisdom is knowing not to put them in a fruit salad.

The apple girl B-story and its style completely takes you out of the atmosphere and it goes nowhere.

It would have worked better as a short film... after the first hour, the unnerving effect wears off and it might as well be a recreation of the Goebbels family home movies. I like the idea a lot, but it could've been handled better imo. Spielberg handled the same subject better in just two scenes with Amon Göth

Yep, you nailed it. I like the Mother bit - Introducing someone who isn't familiar with everything, and showing a genuine, human response.
supposably drives me up a wall.
Mashed Potato Bar. Martini glassed filled Mashed potatoes and you add whatever topping you want.
