We seldom lose elec. because they buried it. I am probably not flooding because I live in a higher section of The Green Swamp.
Did I notice you flirting with that wine Buckeye?
Good luck to you too.

Pretty remarkable shift the last couple of days.
Models zoned in on Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda. Perhaps even farther south. Ian got tall and the subtropical jet cranked up across the Gulf and pushed the storm east.

BTW, shortly before landfall tomorrow, we will likely create an Information Only Thread, and keep this one as the Observation Thread. For those that don't know, the Information thread will be just that - a place for people to post info, post if they need any help, have any relevant questions, and other news that may be important to those affected. Those that make joking posts or anything other than information posts will have theirs deleted. If they persist, then they will get banned.

And at least it won’t be hot as absolute balls the week after the storm.

For those who have recently moved here to the Sarasota Bradenton area, ABC action news in Tampa has a great weatherman. He’s the one we have always watched through hurricanes and he’s great. You can get their app and I’ve posted a link to his Facebook. His name is Denis Phillips.
I watched him on YT yesterday. He's a real baw.
