Dry Tortugas are usually a sign of an overactive thyroid.

Persistent 250-mb troughing across the Gulf. Look for the "south" trend to continue.

I got the dry tortugas back in '07. Took me nigh on three months to fully recover.
Hydrocortisone cream clears in up in about a week if you ever get it again.

Key West surge of 2 feet above expected was about 75 miles from center.
That's in open water with no shoreline to pile it up against. These predicted surge values are very likely to verify along the coastline.
If the eye is ~50 miles wide then the highest surge will be about 25 miles to the right (SSE in this case) of where the center makes landfall to about 50 miles or more from the center.

If you mean Boothville-Venice, they'll be fine.

I think Ian is getting toward the completion of the eyewall replacement cycle. It’s starting to get deeper convection wrapped fully around the eye again.

If Hurricane Ian gets over to the Atlantic side and starts building strength look out. I guess more flooding for NE Florida & Southern Georgia if and when it does
