re: I sense the divide is growing

I'm in the wait and see group.

I'll take the three weeks off. As testing becomes more available and we get more results of those who have been sick for a few weeks, then we can evaluate our strategy for containment.

If it turns out that this thing has a death rate similar to the flu, then I absolutely do not agree with destroying the economy for it.

The people who are overreacting are the ones complaining about losing money for a few weeks.
Never struggled a day in their lives. Meanwhile the poor are living the same way, poor. But you never hear these posters complaining about how the poor live any other time. Weird...only when they’re directly affected do they come out the woodwork.

We survived H1N1, swine flu, Ebola, etc with basically letting them run wild. I keep waiting for the reason this one is magnitudes different.

Why is it so hard for so many people to believe that an intelligent person can look at the exact same facts as you and come to a different conclusion.

Sure those who’s work is being affected by this will naturally say this is an overreaction. But those in the medical field or who have loved ones in the medical field, or have lived ones that are high risk or Have young children that need care will say the measures are necessary.

For all the blow harden SCREAMING that this whole thing is stupid, how do you logically justify leagues like the nba and ncaa leaving hundreds of millions of dollars on the table if this thing was really no big deal?
