alive?

No fridge.

I plan to keep them in a ice chest in the garage.

Should I break the sack and let them sit in tap water

put ice under the sack with the lid open

or any suggestions?

ALSO, sack wont fit laying down in ice chest. Their in a vertical position right now in the ice chest. worry the lowers ones will get crushed.

Don't most people just put them in the shade in the grass with wet towels over them?

Yes

Make sure that the top is either open or cracked open

Should I break the sack and let them sit in tap water

Do not let them sit in water unless you shave an aerator in the water.

put ice under the sack with the lid open

Place the ice on top of the bag, leave the top of the ice chest cracked, drain open

or any suggestions? ALSO, sack wont fit laying down in ice chest. They’re in a vertical position right now in the ice chest. worry the lowers ones will get crushed

Pour them into ice chest and pour ice over the top. Again, drain open and crack the lid

Put them in an ice chest with some frozen broken copper tubing pieces scattered throughout.

Ice chest, bag of ice dumped on top of the sack in the ice chest. Leave the plug out.

Or hang the sack outside and drape it with a wet towel.

I'll add - prop your ice chest up on one end with a big rock or something similar so that it drains well out the drain hole on the opposite end.

Don't use tap water because of the chemicals.

Bust the sack open, fill half of ice chest with water, half with ice. Pour in 2 cannisters of salt. Make sure the lid is closed tight so no critters get in. Keep the drain closed.

Can keep them for weeks this way

The pros at petsmart say about a gallon per inch of fish, so you probably gonna need 500 gallon aquarium to be safe.

keep them cool and well ventilated.

It turns the frogs gay and will probably turn your crawfish gay as well. Then you will risk turning yourself gay when you eat the gay crawfish

Lay on side, cover with ice tilt cooler so water can drain. I've kept them alive for 3-4 days.
