You live in the South?
You will have HVAC "Growth". Clean it all you want, but it will come back. The UV lights might keep the area around the UV light growth free, but farther down the system the growth will eventually come back.

If you can swing it, 1800 RPM water cooled unit. The one at this house is over 20 years old, 26 KW Natural Gas w/ a Ford 2.5L four cylinder, and knock on wood, we have had 0 major problems and only do yearly maintenance, and coolant/plugs/valve adjustments/brushes/etc. at the recommended hours.
Neighbors on both sides have the air cooled units, every outage sounds like they are both cutting their grass, and the service guys are there fixing something regularly. Only way I would get a 3600 air cooled unit is if we had infrequent short outages or if it was outside our budget.
We live in a very power outage prone area/one street neighborhood. We are usually low on the list to get service back since almost each house is fed from its own transformer. They will get the main lines back up but take forever to come reclose our transformer. It is better with the smart meters; we used to have to call about our individual transformer almost every outage.

This is why I don’t talk to any of my neighbors. Although, about everyone in the neighborhood minds their own damn business unless something comes up that is going to be a problem for all of us or someone really needs help. It’s the OT of the neighborhood world.

Easier path to purse them civilly, I guess is the main reason.
Probably so, just like you can get off on criminal charges for shooting someone in self defense, but can still end up being civilly liable to their estate.
Isn’t that cultural appropriation? Or, a do as I say not as I do Dem thing?

St George wanted no part of it and planned renovations to park were reason.
As a resident who lives in a neighborhood off of Old Jefferson, not that far from the “fair grounds”, I assure you nobody in the area will be upset with the relocation.
After the school vote, I’ll be voting no for anything going forward. Give us our own schools and we will participate, until then it’s no on everything.

Great, as if the chargers were not enough.
Do not equate state govt employees with elected ones. Two different things. Judges, etc always seem to still get a raise when the regular employees don’t.
The original machine had a base-plate of prefamulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two main spurving bearings were in a direct line with the pentametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdlespring on the "up" end of the grammeters...
Don't worry BRPD will get right on that shite
I am sure they will get to the HD/Lowes shoplifters right after they solve the case of my stolen lawnmower from 1995.

re: What is your measuring stick for if a “pandemic” is real or not?
Posted by td1 on 5/11/26 at 2:10 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
No real measuring stick, but how far behind Italy we are is at the top of my “not measuring by” stick list.
If I had to pick something, it would be if whatever it is ravages all ages, races, health statuses, and political affiliations the same.

So now they will actually have to campaign/take a stand on issues/convince people to vote for them v. just being a, or the only, black candidate in a black district. The horror!

The day is young, but so far this is the gayest thing I have heard on this rainy Friday. Although with the OT, it shouldn't take long for someone to top this one. Why the F you checking out other guys shoes anyway?

If it doesn’t pass, I don’t think it will go as well for BR as they think. They will have pissed off a very large populous of the parish who are of a demographic that actually votes. Won’t take much for STG folks to vote down any EBRSS millage increases or anything other thing they want to fleece us for. I’m in STG, I’m voting yes. If it fails, I’ll vote against funding anything EBRSS related going fwd.
I’m forced to pay private tuition to get my kids a decent education. I’d like the rest of my city to have a school system where their children can get a good education and not have to pay for private. EBRSS couldn’t fix itself if we gave them all of the tax revenue the city and state collects.
Winnebago’s roof construction sucks.
None of them are (prevost excluded) are built to last anymore.
They all went cheap on materials/quality a few years before COVID. Got worse after COVID.
Buy used whatever one you pick. Depreciation is worst than a boat, and previous owner will have dealt with all the warranty shite.
You can seriously get a nice used Prevost conversion for what you would pay new for any of the cardboard boxes on wheels on the market today. It will also outlast you.
Having said all that, get a diesel the air ride and resale are better. Buy the layout you like most of all, and always go bigger than you think you “need”. You would be very surprised how much more room a 40 ft has vs a 35 ft.

Like china is going to trade the American consumer’s ability to spend obnoxious amounts of money to buy their shite while also overlooking the rest of their shortcomings (pollution, treatment of their citizens, etc.) for the broke arse European market and its ungodly holier than thou climate and social regulations.
China probably can’t even sell 90% of the shite they produce to Europe bc it contains red number 2 or 1 part per trillion of lead, or other shite like that.
China knows where their bread is buttered, and it’s not in Europe. Especially w/o America’s golden parachute of economic/military protection.
