It appears that UNC is moving off the "ties to the school" mentality. This a solid hire for them.

Even Chicago is sick of her
Saratoga is pricing regular folks out. Only perk is they let you bring in ice chests. The scene is beautiful, I will give you that. The quality of racing has tailed off since Ellis has significantly raised purses.

All this over women's basketball?
When Benny Dees had Eackles, Grandison, Richardson, and others, the Lakefront Arena was rocking. UNO had pretty good teams back in those days. Anyone knows the answer, but wasn't Eackles a Prop 48 in JC before UNO?
Good points. I even go as far to say Miami is a terrible sports town. Yes, they have 3 major teams, but the reality is the draw, which is not very good. Too many options, besides going to a game. I remember back in the early 90's while living down there, the Dolphins sold out maybe half of their home games. That was because the snow birds bought up the tickets. AFC East, Pittsburgh, Washington, Philly.
Would've paid to see a televised 'weather wimp off" between Bruce Katz and Carl Arrodondo
Yeah I am heading there every Sunday starting next week.
Its free on the race day app and the website. It's the Augusta National of racing.
Lol Good analogy. LA Confidential.
