Alcohol sales are declining due to a shift in consumer priorities toward health and wellness, a rise in sober-curious lifestyles, and economic factors like inflation. This trend is particularly pronounced in younger generations, who are also exploring alternatives like cannabis and non-alcoholic beverages.

Someone explain why anyone here should care about NYC local politics
Let me break it down. Whats happening there will trickly down here and everywhere. it is already happening. NYC isn't a one and done. Its the beginning. "They take the city, then the state and then move into washington and its over.
What IF....the majority of people that leave NYC are RED?

Why do people stupidly assume that everyone in NYC is blue? IF they are blue, why would they leave and go to florida, TX, etc? I would think RED people are more likely to leave.
People on this board are dumber than Mamdani.

Plus Muslims don't like homo's , gays, trannies
There are gays in NYC cheering on the muslims. They dont know what they are asking for.
Are the Democrats giving up on Hispanics and shifting towards muslims?
Posted by SmogkDeizKnutz on 11/7/25 at 8:44 am
Seems like the trend. Hispanics are slowly waking up to the stupidity, bettering themselves financially. The long term window is shrinking on that path.
Drum roll........Bring in Muslims, they multiply just as fast. Really take over things and lock in control. They are basically shipping them in like cattle to take over the ranch.

Robert Tucker, who is Jewish, will step down from his position with the city's fire department on December 19, sources told The New York Post.
His resignation came hours after the Democratic Socialist, who is anti-Israel, defeated Republican Curtis Sliwa and former state governor Andrew Cuomo.

Why would LSU want to hire Saban?
Posted by SmogkDeizKnutz on 11/4/25 at 2:33 pm
He retired because he DOES / [DOES NOT] want to coach anymore. IF money was the issue or deal breaker, he would still be at Bama.
At 74, he doesn't have a great deal of time left.
There is a thing called the NIL now, Saban wont be as affective anymore. Times have changed.
I dont see any upside of Saban versus just a qualified HC candidates. If anything, he would be at the lower end of the list.
I would rather get a good HC that stays for 5-10 years versus a prove-it deal for 3 years to maybe win a NC.

The US is planning strikes on Venezuelan airports, ports and maritime facilities.

The Trump Administration has made the decision to launch attacks against military installations inside Venezuela — which could be struck by air in a matter of days or even hours — with the intent of destroying military airbases and ports used by the Cartel of the Suns, a drug-trafficking organization the United States has said is led by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and run by top members of his Regime, sources with knowledge of the situation told the Miami Herald.
quote:
While sources declined to say whether Venezuelan President Maduro himself is a target of the upcoming strikes, one of them said his time is “running out.” “Maduro is about to find himself trapped and might soon discover that he cannot flee the country even if he decided to,” the source said. “What’s worse for him, there is now more than one general willing to capture and hand him over, fully aware that one thing is to talk about death, and another to see it coming.”
