Congrats. I got bored just reading that shite.
Sorry, you are too stupid to use Google or read three very compact sentences.

If you feel this way, now is the time to approach your supervisors and let them know you’d like to be involved in any side projects they have. If they see that you can handle your current position and also take on more roles, you always have that in your back pocket when it comes to evaluations and promotions (with current company or another).
It’s also the time to pick the brains of those above you that have positions you might be interested in wanting to do later in your career. One thing I’ve learned over time is that most people have no problem talking about their career path to where they are now.

Something tells me that if you move on you will miss your current job...The grass is not always greener...

You should be figuring out what your superiors are doing and asking to help or making sure your work is superior to others in your position.
If you are not being challenged... you will slowly fall.

Do you sit in front of a computer?
Use that computer to educate yourself on anything you want. Millions of pages of info/videos at your fingertips.
Not sure what you do, but you can learn even more about it on the internet. Get professional certifications.
I watch all kinds of stupid crap at work. I've educated myself on so many useless topics. I'm old though.
You're young and have endless resources to improve yourself.

The problem is in your mindset. You call it "wasting away", but you could call it "cruising to the next paycheck" and everything would be ok then.
Set your expectations appropriately and you'll never be disappointed.

Seems like a great opportunity to find something outside of work to help fill that void. That way you can ride the gravy train of high pay for little work and then go do something you enjoy with your time away from work.
I'm 35 yrs old and just got to a place in life where I'm able to slow down and be comfortable because I partied away my younger days. I'd kill to go back in time and be in the position you're complaining about.

maybe you think you are doing better than you actually are ?
The little work I do is quality. I had some big whigs fawn over me for some spreadsheet I produced recently. It was fun, but right after that back to doing nothing. I've maybe done 3 hours of real work since Monday.

Time away from work isn't an issue. I've always made it a priority to get out and do things, even on the weekdays. I never want to fall into the literal 'netflix and chill' trap.

The best one is to slowly change the coffee in the office from regular to decaf over time without anyone noticing then change it to double espresso.

Is this what office jobs are suppose to feel like?
I've been out of college for over 20 years, and it's an ebb and flow. I've never had a post-college job that was busy all the time, nor one that had a great deal of down time, but I have been in positions before where I literally had nothing to do for days at a time. I spent that time teaching myself advanced Excel(pivot tables and V-lookup mostly) and goofing off on the internet.

1. Create opportunities outside of your job description for success. This could help move you up to better things.
2. Take this time to learn new skills that you will need as your career progresses. Go get a Master's (even online), especially if the company will pay for it.
3. Paperwork (I am assuming that is what you are doing) and manual labor are different, but they are both work.

Take up a hobby that fills the void of missing manual jobs. I find landscaping and other household projects help, as I work a desk job and experience similar disillusionment.

I made a career change at 27 and couldn’t be more happy about the decision.
Now I am probably the opposite of most people here, but I had a job I actually loved doing but the pay was shite. So I left for a much more boring job that pays much more and also grants me every weekend off.

Enjoy that shite son. I gave 60 flu shots in 8 hours monday, and still get bitched at that I’m not verifying scripts fast enough. Sweat more running circles around the pharmacy than I did working construction
