I can't imagine anything worse than the Paleo diet.

It's a total abandonment of reason. Life without bread, dairy, alcohol, and other delectables that inject a little joy into one's life. I'm 3 weeks into an 8 week "mild" version of paleo and I've decided that paleo is a sham. I haven't had bread or pasta or beer or any form of sweet. Yeah, it's possible for a while. But it's no way to live.

And to the paleo true believers out there... you are assholes. Your diet operates on the false premise that man's digestive system has not adapted and changed over the last 40,000 years. You have to be miserable.

Man does not live by bread, dairy, alcohol, and other delectables that inject a little joy into one's life alone

I don't see how one can grow up in a place like south LA and do something like this.

All diets are stupid and the people that do them are more stupid. Just eat healthy 5/6 days a week, be active, and throw in 4/5 days of exercise and you'll live a healthy life and won't be fat. That's the simplest "diet" that can sustain longevity and you won't be miserable.

How how fat and nasty do you have to be and how shitty do your genes have to be to put yourself on such a depressing diet?

Sounds like a diabetic diet. I couldn't do unless I had blood sugar issues, still I don't see how you lose weight without restricting calories if that is the diet's purpose.

I was watching SECN for the national championship game and they were killing Booger for being on it. He just shook his head and said "man, bread is useless carbs."

Just because you have the will power of Rosie O'Donnell sitting in front of 3 dozen powdered donuts, doesn't mean eating a Paleo diet is bad for you..

Portion control and exercise are the only thing you really need to lose weight. It's not some complex diet that's needed. Low fat, lot of veggies/fruit, and little-no fried food

Low carb works for me. I feel fuller and less likely to binge eat when I'm taking it easy on the carbs, and have lost a good 10+ pounds after being stuck at a weight.

Anyone who says this diet will work and this diet won't is not taking into account different people's bodies.

I've been doing a keto diet for about 6 weeks now. I'm doing it to reduce blood sugar (borderline diabetic). I still eat foods that are good like crawfish, hot wings, burgers (no bun of course) bacon, butter etc...While I do agree it is hard with the awesome foods we have here, it does take dedication.

Diets are stupid. I laugh at anyone who does that crap. Just dont eat like a slob and exercise and you'll be fine
