Actually it’s exactly how it works. Warm waters fuel storms.

Going to start turning into a shitshow in Florida today especially after what Hurricane Ian did. Flooding was a huge issue this one is not as strong but people in Florida freakout especially since alot of people are just moving here. I expect long lines at gas stations and people packing grocery stores. Myself i am working today and tomorrow and filling my gas cans early Tuesday morning.

All models except Euro showing landfall on western edge of the current cone

Euro is in the middle

Good news for Tampa but if the hurricane models are right bad news for Tallahassee

Just the thought of having to go through all this again makes me ill.

That hopeless feeling of just waiting and praying for a slight jog one direction or another.

Tallahassee is far enough inland that they wouldn't have a storm surge issue. There also isn't much along the coast south of there. At least from a major population stand point.

It's not the storm surge but all those oak trees and canopy roads in Tallahassee. Lots of downed trees and power loss if it comes near Tallahassee.

I've spent a good bit of time on Dog Island over the years. Half the houses on the beach are already about to fall into the ocean after Michael. Idalia may finish them off.
