It actually was the first to show Laura bombing out right before landfall but I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day lol
Yeah, the HWRF is an excellent model, especially for intensity.

Accuweather's hurricane baw just put out the cone he thinks it will go to. It shows it almost at the Econfina River in the big bend of FL, as a cat 1, at 8am Wed. morning.
Other Accuweather baw is showing it coming in N. of Tampa. They should get together, have a beer, and decide.

If you show every storm in the GOM bombing out, you will get some right.

I’ll take this drought over a cat 3 or above all day every day.

Hopefully that wasn’t the same poster that 2 years ago wanted Ida to come their way to get rid of an oak tree.
If memory serves me, Ida did go his way and knocked over all the other trees he wanted and left the oak untouched.

Any dates tied to the path? When should it possibly make landfall?
Trying to decide if I should alter my plans and make decisions based on the path/s

Will this mess up the LSU vs Florida St game in Orlando next Sunday?

Good thing it doesnt do that and instead shows you when theres potential for something to pop off.
Im serious, in the past few years the HWRF is my first stop after GFS/Euro synoptics.

Well..this proves you have never been in a Cat 3 or higher and/or you don't live anywhere within 200 miles of the coast..
Oh, and BTW, bad hurricanes don't drop much rain...what you want is a tropical storm that doesn't park over your arse for 3 days and flood all your neighbors and infrastructure.
