Who says we're just going to LSU games?
We tailgate for high school football and have watch parties for Saints games as well.

We go to LSU basketball games and pelicans games.

We tailgate for baseball games and have season tickets to that as well.

That's all year round, baby. We look for any excuse to gather, cook, drink, and play music.

Not only that, but it’s entirely possible to make it back to BR for some, or even most, LSU football games, depending on how far away you live.. i’ve done it for years.

I've lived in Orlando, Las Vegas, LA, Salt Lake, Houston, and Baton Rouge.

I'm perfectly happy calling Baton Rouge home.

I lived out of state for a year after college before I moved back home. I'm glad to be here and our culture. There's many things you can do here that you can't in other states, even if we have some flaws. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

You do you.

I'll never understand why people care where other people live. OP, if you want to leave the state, go. No one will miss you. Why does anyone have to act superior on the way out the door. Just go.

Haha. I hear ya. But I can think of many places I’d rather do all of those things than in BR.

There’s more to Louisiana than Baton Rouge.

There really should be a separate question for Louisiana and New Orleans.

Yeah, but the people I want to do all of those things with all live within 90 minutes of Baton Rouge. So, yeah, I could do all of those things in New York City, Milan, Tokyo, or San Francisco, but the people I share those experiences with, the people that make those experiences so enjoyable, won't be there.

Plus, on this board, everyone likes to talk about how there's this BIG world out there outside of Louisiana. You have ALL these choices of places to go! Yet, nearly every single time, the only other choice is Houston, and that place is just a giant Baton Rouge with more jobs and none of the benefits that south Louisiana provides to people who grew up here. Sure, technically, I COULD go anywhere, but yet every time, the only people hiring are in Houston, and that place f&%king blows.

He named a listing. Meaning there are many other things as well. There’s no way you are that dense.
