re: Why Lane Kiffin fails at LSU

I really don’t have any concern. If he leaves oh well he leaves. We will ultimately hire someone else with high upside and potential. If we frick it up like last time they will fire him and do it again. Same goes for Lane honestly.

Agreed that one was point. At the very worst we’re in the same situation we are currently in. And that’s at the very worst. The best he wakes us up into legitimate contenders like we were before.

Exactly. And, Burrow was always more worried about his outfit and his hair than he was about football. If he had concentrated more on football, he could have been great.

Totally man. He was a total bum at LSU
quote:

Lane was a good hire for what we needed. Bit he has NEVER stayed to complete any job he has been assigned.

Now THIS would be a legitimately good concern most realistic fans should and do have. The good thing is if he just ups and leaves in the dead of night we’ll hire someone else. We needed an elevated quick boost to the program and I do believe he gives us that. Honestly not much different than the situation Ole Miss was in when they hired him.

He was 10-3 with an arguably better team in 2024. Losses to Kentucky (4-8) and Florida (8-5). Head scratching losses that should be attributed to the HEAD coach.

Yes. All of it ultimately falls on the coach. He also has the 2nd highest winning percentage in Ole Miss history while taking over a dumpster fire of a program. Just under a coach whose name y’all have on the Stadium. I get it. You’re trying to downplay a coach that left. It’s all good lol but he legitimately was a good hire by Ole Miss and elevated them to heights they haven’t seen since my grandparents were newlyweds.
It’s over low mostly to get a rise out of the LSU fans on here. I get it. They are a legitimately great team though. Although if Miami beats them no one will care about them
Ole Miss knows more about our team than I do lol
He was 11-1 with the same exact team. After they were 2-1. Y’all are retarded

I’m not exactly sure what this thread is about
It’s really no no matter how many times it gets repeated lol.

Georgia being obsessed is definitely something I had in my bingo card for the offseason
In college? Dumb thread if so
2 very great LSU teams. Feels good man

re: Why is Moscona saying…

Yep. Makes it look like he’s holding things back because he’s a part of the cool club only to break the news after it’s already been broken by someone else.

Honestly the greatest argument for Indiana might be that Cincinnati saw what LSU did and said we’ll just copy that,

That’s honestly probably the worst argument I’ve ever heard. Two of their 11 guys are from LSU lol. Oline is one of the worst in the NFL since 2020. I could go on and on.
Totally get that and could be a cause for concern going forward with a coaching staff that likes to focus only on offense. We do like where we’re at from defensive coordinator standpoint though so hopefully that just translates. Along with our ability to naturally get a pretty good amount of standout defensive guys that are homegrown as seen with our most recent recruiting class.

2019 Alabama: 10-2 regular season 2025 Alabama: 10-2 regular season

So you think 2025 and 2019 Bama are the same. Got it lol
quote:

Your right. Either Lane or Glasscock decided to spend twice as much on offense over defense and most on WR and TE. We were a Safety and LB short. I don’t know which one to blame it on.

I’m not arguing either way I have no idea about Glasscock and it sounds like it was just a legit question and open discussion. But blaming it on anyone finishing with one of your best seasons ever is pretty short sided.
Did he not leave for LSU two years ago?
quote:

Yes, saying that LSU could beat even the worst NFL team is significantly more retarded than other fanbases bringing up 2019 and then blaming LSU fans for it.

My bad I did not see that comment. If this is true yes you are correct that is more retarded.
