How many of you are planning to live in Louisiana your entire lives? Why?

Need to leave the dump behind. More to life than sucking down seafood platters. 30 days until I’m out of this place. No more sitting in Baton Rouge traffic.

I actually like it here.
I have a tight-knit group of friends that I hang out with all the time. I love the food, the festivals, the mild winters, the football games, the tailgates, the music, etc.
I'm very comfortable here. If I can make a decent living, why would I go anywhere else?

Louisiana traffic, specifically Baton Rouge, is so bad, I am waiting to see it start going in reverse at some point.

If (god forbid) I ever have any kids I'll strongly consider moving elsewhere, maybe Houston area. Until then, I love my job and my neighborhood here in BR so I'm aight here, plus my parents are here and getting into their 60s. Id like to be around for them if needed.

I never hated it. I moved away and it worked out for me, but for many it makes more sense to stay.
Leaving has given me more love for LA than staying ever did. My home is covered in subtle LA-references and my absolute favorite thing to do is come back to visit.
