This. I never understand these debates because I believe that they all have their place when paired with the right food.

I like Crystal or Tabasco usually added after foods have been cooked rather than during cooking.

There's such a disparity in heat level between Crystal and Tabasco that it's not really a fair comparison.

Crystal has the best taste, and it's best if you're going to use a lot of it.

But when I want to really bring the heat, this is one of my current go-tos:

For some reason, it’s popular to hate on Tabasco. I don’t get it. Tabasco has the best flavor.

Disagree. The other two listed provide flavor first, then follow it up with heat. Tabasco smacks you with heat first and if it doesn’t block your taste buds follows up with flavor.

Give me Louisiana all day.

I also really like the Cajun Power Garlic Sauce

I second this, very very underrated. Best pure hot sauce flavor, I don’t find it to be overpowered by vinegar like Tabasco. It sells for $0.99, if you haven’t tried it, you should.

His post was more of an OT post. No content. Just an arbitrary ranking of three things without any details or review. It belongs here with the other drivel and not the Food Board.

We go through a lot of crystal in this house.

I can't eat pizza at home without showing it in crystal.
