I've been marinating chicken in it before frying. Not quite as juicy as a buttermilk soak, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have incredible flavor.

I like sriracha on some things, but it doesn't have enough vinegar for me. That little bit of tang can really elevate a dish as opposed to just heat and other spices.

PSA: Crystal makes an extra hot variety.

I often blend it with crystal with garlic to desired heat level on the food.

Tabasco for eggs and gumbo.

Tabasco chipotle for creamy soups.

Crystal for pretty much everything else.

Because Tabasco is too hot for them. So rather than admit that fact, they try to save some dignity by saying they don’t like the taste.

They are one of my best customers. The folks fly in from corporate pretty much every quarter and we bring them to lunch. Very good people.
