My mom always recommended a regular Coca-Cola for nausea. My mother-in-law liked 7UP.

If it's acid related...use a scant 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt and wash it down with water...works every time.

Any carbonated beverage the first thing in the morning after a night of heavy drinking always does wonders for me.

pic of carbonation molecule:

The above is a carbonation molecule...they have razor sharp splines. The kidneys filtering system is like a network of fine netting. Carbonation molecules shred that netting and the kidneys will coat the carbonation molecules much like an oyster does a grain of sand that becomes a pearl. The body will coat the carbonation molecules to protect the kidneys and eventually they can become kidney stones.

Found at https://www.sciencedirect.com/ many years ago.

Try a little chicory tea.

That's funny because I though it was a black thing. Learned something new toda

Saltines, soda and sliced cheese was a Friday night dinner staple for my family, unless my dad was home and he made us Irish pizza - white bread toasted with a slice of cheese and a slice of tomato.

Prep H has a rebound effect like nasal sprays...use it and it will cause more swelling.
i knew it!!!!!!

never looked this up but i felt like the 'carmex' effect was happening. it didnt seem to be helping and i only noticed because a couple of times getting out ot the shower my butt wasn't hurting and i forgot to apply it and..i was like ''ok i actually dont feel bad".

then eventually just stopped. *scurries to find any old prep h in the house to toss it*

f someone has a home remedy for tinnitus, I'm all ears for it.

Cover both ears with the palm of your hands tightly. With your fingers now at the back/base of your skull start tapping kinda hard. Like playing the drums. At the base of your skull. Do this for about 1 minute.

This is a TEMPORARY fix. And when I say TEMPORARY I mean about 10-15 minutes max.

But its better than nothing.

On a side note, does anything in the entire industry provide more relief value than Afrin and equivalent?

AI says it doesn't but I do know an older gentleman that goes to our church that used it and started having prostate problems and his doctor said it was the flonase.

But we can all agree, Penicillin (and the variants) is still the GOAT.

No controversy there

In the 70s it was ginger ale.
The aviation industry still teaches that and most airlines offer real ginger ale on flights.

Sunlight and getting heart rate up are the reason. Research is showing the rise in colon cancer in the U.S. for men under 50 is due to inadequate UVB exposure and subsequent low vitamin D levels. No coincidence this is also the first generation that lived with video gaming their winter lives.

Studies showing massive benefits creatine has he brain.

If you want to do two simple things to improve health, getting more sunlight and taking creatine will go a long way.
