Gulf Shores will be fine. Rainy on Thursday.

You come across as a little kid that maybe rode out 1 major hurricane
Unfortunately I’ve seen the aftermath of Ivan, Katrina and Michael which is why I’m suggesting driving the length of the panhandle the day after a cat 4 is a bad idea.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I'm reading Gulfshores forecast and - winds no more than 20 mph tomorrow -High surf /Riptide warnings but only 2 to 4 inches of rain, so no flooding. Then clear Friday, We ARE GOING unless there is a dramatic change reported early tomorrow morning. Thanks!

We're at the yellow star. Getting the "good side", just a little rain right? :(

Only a brain dead retard would even think this is possible.

Looks like the 18z hurricane models are going to bust too low with the central pressure at 00z.

I would still prepare for a ride

I sure hope so. I'm very close to you. I just got through watching the WTVY 6:00 news, and the local Met just said that he believes the track would end up on the Eastern side of the cone. He said the difference in Eastern half of the cone vs Western half would be massive for the Wiregrass area.

It would be huge for large areas of Georgia, Tennessee and NE Alabama as well. I'm not sure I believe he'll be right though.

Sat presentation is not very impressive right now. I wonder if the hurricane models are trying to snap a tight inner core while ignoring the larger overall circulation of the storm. We'll find out soon enough.

Still looks to be sucking in dry air on that north side
