Here’s my inside “sauce”…low level football ops employee. Works closely with the players. The entire football ops loves Verge, and are thrilled to work with him. They’ve wanted him as AD for years.
They hated Scott, a-hole.
They never saw BK, and when they did, he was aloof, and spoke to no one. He didn’t know anyone in there. Celebrated when he was fired.
Bonus: Nussmeir was considered soft by everyone associated with the team. And soft is the nice word for what they said.
