Yep. Got pulled over for speeding and the fricker gave me a ticket. Couldn't believe it

Yes... Im white which shouldnt matter.. I was respectful, they were not.. One was a few years ago and a block from my house, suspected dui.. I wrongly admitted to having a couple beers with dinner.. I was cuffed and stuffed and blew a .021

I've had a few. I was threatened with a taser once as a teenager. That time was more of a misunderstanding though in context. I also was pulled over without cause and had my truck illegally searched. When they found nothing I was let go with a warning. A warning for what? I don't know. Also had a cop try to tack on a school zone penalty to a ticket despite it being outside a school zone and during summer, which got removed when I went to the courthouse to pay it. All in all it could have been worse. Still, cops make me nervous.

I'm a white guy, but I did use to drive an old beat up truck when I was in high school and college, which probably made me a target.

When I was in college i was driving my (black) friend to work between Natchitoches and Many and some hillbilly cop took it as an excuse to pull us out of the car and search it. He found nothing then wrote me a ticket for not having my seatbelt on just to prove a point, i guess.

About 5 years ago I was driving I-12 west when I was pulled over by a state trooper. He said he had me doing 85 in a 70. I was absolutely NOT doing a mile over 70. I politely told him that I don't drive like that. He did the standard license check, insurance check and registration and asked where I was going. He then turned around, got back in his unit and took off. No "slow down", no "have a nice day", nothing.
About two years later, I found out he had a history of this, evidently wasn't particularly popular among his fellow troopers and was politely asked to retire.
It gave me a lot of satisfaction knowing this worthless piece of human debris is no longer patrolling the highways of Louisiana !

2 or 3.

One was a known a-hole who like to sit around a very long stretch of road that was 25 mph where 40+ would have been very safe. it was difficult not to speed up at that spot and he got me. i did the speeding, so no complaints there, he was just rude in general, but he was notorious for that stretch.


another time i was headed home late from work in college and got pulled over. i didn't drink back then and he gave me a full sobriety test. when i cleared just fine he gave me a written warning for "violating improved highway." Which mean my right tire touched the paint.

Last one was a on car accident on a dirt road. a car in front of me kicked up dirt and i missed a curve in the road only going about 40 mph. managed to hit the edge of a fresh plowed row and flipped my truck. it was before cell phones, so i had to walk home and call. DPS guy gave me reckless driving, leaving the scene, and failure to control speed. went to the judge and said "that little shite does stuff like this all the time. all charges dropped. drive safer."


most of my interactions are good, but i am white and always have my license and insurance out and am cordial. i am fully aware that some of my black brothers may not have that benefit and for that i'm truly sorry. i hope a generation from now we have less racist cops and less of a reason for cops to be wary of people of a different color when pulling them over.

Mine was in high school. I was in the my friend's car and I had just gotten some beer. Cop pulled us over claiming my friend ran a stop sign(he didn't). I tried to hide the beer, but he saw it. I immediately said it was mine, but he insisted I was taking the blame for my friend, and since it was in his car it was his beer. Harassed him for a solid 5 minutes, put him in cuffs, then told me to walk down the block and call my parents(this was long before cell phones) to come get me. I refused to leave my friend alone with the cop and told the cop my parents were at something that night and weren't home. This was a small lie that turned out to be true, because my parents just happened to drive by a few minutes later on their way home from dinner. By that time cop had my friend in the back of the police car, and my dad lit into the cop after I told him the situation. Another cop pulled up, and they released us both to my dad. Cop didn't even confiscate the beer, but dad did. I've been mistrusting of cops ever since, sometimes justified sometimes not. I'd say it's about 50/50 good/bad cop interactions in my life. A lot of the bad ones though were while they were out of uniform.
