no it isn't . it's treatment of a legitimate physical medical condition. hormonal treatments for PCOS in women aren't gender affirming care, either.

Medical person here: you don’t know wtf you are talking about. A vasectomy has nothing to do with your hormone levels you twat…at least I hope so…having just performed a vasectomy 20 minutes ago.

Fortunately for you, there's no law against holding asinine opinions.

A vasectomy is not gender affirming care. And a vasectomy does not lower your testosterone level. You're conflating it with a castration or something.

Something like a boob job is truly gender affirming care. Unlike the transgender procedures that are referred to as "gender affirming care" but really are the exact opposite of gender affirming care.

Exactly. I'm living my truth by calling his opinion on this particular topic asinine. He's comparing two things that aren't remotely the same by any definition or standard. He's even completely medically incorrect; it doesn't lower testosterone.

It's probably what he wanted anyway. Drop a flaming bag of excrement on the board for people to try to stomp out.

Ride on white knight. Ride on.

I got the vasectomy for the wifey. I remember the needle in the banus, the tugging and snipping, the smell of the cauterizing. I went home, iced the area all day, and used a baseball sliding short and jock strap to hold everything steady, and headed to the golf course for a couple of rounds. All went well.

What makes you think getting a vasectomy requires you take hormones. That’s simply not true.

Youre getting your panties all in a twist over a post on the off topic board of an LSU website. I can get you the number of a great hormone therapy clinic to get that straightened out for you
