Ruth’s Chris. Bolted Metairie for Orlando days after Katrina. I get that. CEO at the time was determined not to reopen the Broad Street location because he thought having a store in a dicey neighborhood was bad for the brand.
If you want to work behind the scenes in TV, NEP and Game Creek Video both have engineering apprenticeship programs. Plenty of work in NYC.
My son did. He joined IATSE in New Orleans and transferred to NYC after a couple of years. TV/film and stage jobs are mostly union. Most unions require working a certain amount of days before joining. Some live TV is staffed by IBEW.
I drive solo with one other unit. NASCAR, NFL, PGA, NCAA Basketball, NHL. I have an MMA fight at the White House on my schedule but that is not confirmed. I have yet to team drive but it is a possibility depending on the schedule. 21/7 rotation. Fly to and from the truck.
Drive. Set up and break down. Engineers fly in and take care of the technician stuff. The broadcaster is in charge of staffing on game day.
Great if you find the right company. Started out in specialty chemical hauling out of St Gabriel/Geismar. Switched over to car hauling for 10 years. Now I am in TV sports. Make less than car hauling but work much less.

Get off at the Robert exit.
Went there for 5th grade in the 70’s. In P.E. We were square dancing “dive for the oyster dive. Dive for the clam dive”. Some kid was goofing off and the coach paddled his butt.

The deceased should not be in any hurry.
I have also stayed at Tru by Hilton in Richmond recently. Nice place but no frills.
I have stayed at both the Holiday Inn and Hyatt Place on the east side. Walkable restaurants. Both hotels are decent.

Did 2 years. Enjoyed it. Moved on for more money. Does BASF still have a Walk On’s?
I have had every style of pizza. Sally’s in New Haven is my #1. I understand some don’t like the char on a coal fired pizza.
