If you watch the full dash cam video you see how much this really impacts the cop after the adrenaline wears off.
He’s off camera but starts crying. The guy will need some therapy for sure. Anyone who watches that video and then says cops are “hunting” black people are delusional idiots.
This cop was just doing his job and now he’s got to live with what he had to do because that piece of shite wouldn’t just comply.

expandable batons are not useless. A trained fighter with batons or even escrima sticks have a big advantage over a barehanded fighter. The PSI of a well placed baton strike can be lethal especially if applied to a more vulnerable area. Also a baton can prevent injury from a knife wielding opponet much more than a barehanded defense.

C'mon let's be honest: the cop was too aggressive since the beginning and never did anything to avoid the situation to keep on escalating.
And the suspect an idiot for not complying to the officer and following simple instructions and cooperating.

Capitalizing ‘black’? Mentioning a wrongful imprisonment that had NOTHING to do with the current situation?? This shite has got to stop. They’re purposely instigating shite with piss poor journalism like this
What you have to understand is they’re not journalists and what they’re doing isn’t journalism. They’re propagandists pushing propaganda that fits their narrative and serves their agenda.
This has been the case of the vast majority of our media for a long time, they’re not journalists, they’re propagandists, pushing Marxist/Leftist progressive propaganda. Almost all newspapers and the vast majority of network news organizations operate openly as the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party to promote and support their radical leftist agenda, and have done so since at least the 1960s.

What? He gave the guy a bunch of opportunities to comply. He tried less than lethal means to make him comply. Even when attacked physically he tried his baton. He only shot the guy when it was clear the suspect was trying to kill him.

Why was the cop trying to arrest him for speeding? I know he can, but that’s not the norm. Something else happen? Did he not stop? Cop was pretty pissed off before the dude even got out. Then he FAFO

he said the guy was going 100+ on what appeared to be a pretty busy interstate. lets be generous and say it was a 70 mph stretch. thats 30 mph over the limit and given the way the guy was acting, i bet he was driving straight and narrow. Reckless endangerment should land you in jail.

That stretch of I-95 is a 70 MPH limit.

he tries to choke a cop out on camera while taunting him as a bitch. On what planet is that defensible?
Exactly. Like I could see him kind of being a dick and immediately requesting a lawyer, but you can't choke a goddamn policeman out on the highway.

I definitely know white people that got arrested going 30+ over.

It does seem like the standard protocol for cops is to continue escalating. If cops learn techniques from Andy Griffith, a lot of this wouldn’t happen.
Once the cops escalate enough to trigger a fight or flight response, what do you expect to happen? With that said, the guy should have just followed instructions from the beginning, but was probably on drugs.
