9mmSMG Twitter Video

The Police officer pulled him over after he passed the officer doing over 100 on the highway. Then things go very sideways.

Lucky they didn't both end up in traffic and smeared down the highway. Cop is a big ol baw. Stuff like this makes me wonder why we allow women to work the streets as police officers.

Certain people love testing the old non-compliance theory.

Anybody else see the Brinks truck backing up at the end of the video? Looks like they saw what was going on, pulled to the shoulder, and backed down the interstate to help the officer. Video cuts off before we see that though.

It’s just so easy to be shot by the police. I don’t think the victim had any real opportunity to avoid it

I’m wondering if that was an accidental discharge. Did he have his finger on the trigger, grab at the suspect with his support hand, and have a sympathetic reaction in the gun hand and squeeze the trigger. Hard to tell since at the moment of truth they had fallen out of camera view.

Although, when the suspect began to choke him out that encounter immediately transitioned to a deadly force one. He was justified in capping the guy right then and there.

ETA: I missed the shot the first time. I saw the Sgt pull out his expandable baton (those are useless, btw) while they were grappling standing up and the suspect went for the choke. I didn’t see the first time I watched the cop transition to the handgun .

They either saw it or heard it on the radio.

No. You see him get shot the first time (maybe only time) on camera. Definitely intentional.

I'm pretty sure I saw the bullet exit his shirt, lower abdomen left side. He shot him once.

When "Backing up the Brinks Truck" doesn't mean dropping a bag for a college recruit.

When I saw that Brinks truck drive by after the guy got handsy, I was disappointed I didn’t see brake lights to pull over to help. Made me sad to think company policy probably prohibits security guards from intervening in issues like this.

Then I saw that truck driving in reverse on the other side. Driver knew he might lose his job, but he damn sure wasn’t going to not help a cop stay alive.

My eyes teared up. Good call, even if it wasn’t needed.
