Does the homeowner have a Go Fund Me set up yet? I'm ready to send my contribution.

They were probably up early to have a good breakfast before finals. One tapped on the door to borrow a pencil. Homeowner overreacted. All three were good kids.

Problem is, this homeowner probably will have to fork over $50k in lawyer fees off the bat just to have an attorney draw up a response and appear for him to have the case thrown out, and the suing parents who likely hired some POS sue happy pro-bono unless awarded lawyer won’t have to reimburse him a single dime.

He should counter sue the parents, for being shitty parents.

And the cost of the ammo, bleach and whatever is used to scrape brains off the walls.

Sounds like a good shoot. Dont do criminal things if you dont want to get shot.

He should sue the parents for the damage their kids caused. That would make more sense

Not sure how being a minor plays in to it, but each of those kids could be charged with the deaths of the others via felony murder rule.

In several mass shootings, parents have been sued for their kids using their guns.

Seems like there could be some criminal charges for the parents, but we know that won’t happen.

It wouldn’t be that hard to craft a civil claim out of all that for the homeowner if he can articulate some damages.

May not survive to trial, but it wouldn’t be entirely frivolous.

It's possible that homeowner's insurance will cover the legal fees of the homeowner. It depends on state law and the phrasing of the policy.

And the parents of the deceased are not the only ones that can run a GoFundMe.

"Parents." Able to sue, but not able to be aware of where their "children" are at 4 am in the morning.

This is why I carry self defense insurance. Shouldn't have to worry about paying an attorney if I ever have to use my weapons.

Home owner should sue the thugs parents in a counter suit for all they EBT and welfare checks for the mental anguish they thug kids inflicted on the home owner, from the lack of parenting from the deceased thugs parents, by making the home owner defend himself and family by shooting them thugs dead.

With these underaged kids why don't the courts hold the thug parents responsible for they thug actions that led to they thug kids death? Otherwise this type of behavior will still run rampant for these people that always be doing thug shite like this.

Five pages of the OT getting worked up over a lawsuit that may not even have been filed for an incident that happened six years ago.

In LA a lawyer bringing such a case could be on the hook for the defendant’s attorneys fees and expenses.
