J Edgar established the little dictatorship as a way to compile info on people to influence and threaten them. It’s always been corrupt. It is more so now since that weasel (can’t remember his name) went scot free on the conspiracy to defame a sitting US President.

So per the article they raided 800 boxes but only 300 are trying to claim back their property. Certainly seems strange that that many people just don’t care their property was stolen.

I worked at a bank and DHS showed up one day. A disgruntled employee of a business made a false claim and DHS secured a warrant to seize the assets of the business. We had to issue an official check for over $200,000 to DHS. The business owner, a relatively old man, had to spend an assload of money on attorneys to get his wrongfully seized money back. He did nothing wrong and had to prove his innocence.
The seizure laws are absolute dog shite.
ETA they used the same thing… “the smell of marijuana.” Asking teller if the deposits ever smelled like marijuana. Not one of them said it did but I have no doubt that they fudged the report.

Unfortunately it is becoming more and more clear that violence will be necessary to prevent government overreach at some point. If you look at what is going on in other parts of the world like Australia and then apply that here where this is much more capable and armed populace, it doesn’t take much to put two and two together where civilians will eventually be forced to take a stand. Civil asset forfeiture is the most ridiculous unconstitutional law ever written. Basically law enforcement can just take your money or property if they "suspect" that it was obtained illegally.

As opposed to all of the ‘mainstream’ ‘dignified’ news institutions that have been SO TRUTHFUL thus far?
In retrospect places like Conservative Tree House and New York Post have been paragons of journalism. They exposed Russia Gate, Hunters laptop, etc. when all the mainstream media outlets were sucking Deep State/ CIA dick and blacking it out.
