Lol. Biden softly, quietly cracking down on the marijuana industry while those who use MJ continue to stupidly think he is a friend.

I can’t imagine having that kind of wealth and not having a private vault in my mansion instead of in public.

Right, wrong, or indifferent....I imagine this was the "suspicious circumstances" which drove said raid.

When did the Feds ever serve the people? Government’s actual function from the perspective of the people who work for the government is to preserve and grow its role in society.

It is like a many tentacled creature that slithers and slinks in the darkness, only popping it’s Alphabet heads up to seem less harmless. Throughout history it has been hacked to bits, but pieces always remain to worm away, and feed, and grow.

The problem here is in America it found an endless trough, somewhere it need not even hunt. As much as it could slurp was there for it, and it grew and grew and grew. Its tentacles wrapped around every building, its flesh melded with the very foundations, until it looms over the city, its shadow dwarfing the Washington monument.

It was always a many eyed monster, but tech has given it endless sight and reach.
It’s tentacles can squeeze with impunity, and so great is its sway that people will applaud even its most egregious attacks.

The new America is that everything is owned by the govt, and you just get to use it as long as they allow you to.

You know, at least when Pirates take your stuff, they don’t do it under the guise of protecting you

Sometimes a country would hire pirates, call them privateers, and sanction their plundering. However, they were strictly forbidden from robbing from their own citizens.

Civil forfeiture allows robbery of US citizens, and the robbers get to keep the stolen goods.

Even if it is killed it will simply morph into another form, like a bit of worm slithering away even after the bloated monster is hacked to bits.

That's why it is upon us to remain vigilant against such entities and never allow them to crop up. Past generations were not and now we are in this never ending web of unelected bureaucracy.

There are some fascinating series on privateers. Problem is you need an external enemy to keep them occupied. When they don’t have that they inevitably turn on you.

Or, you can do a simple google, it pops up as the first story in a rag you probably put more stock in.

He's using the source of the article as a shield in hopes that we ignore the fact that he has no problem with the government seizing people's assets with no cause whatsoever, then forcing them to prove their innocence in order to get it back. People like that cannot be reasoned with. They are religious fundamentalists, except that their God is the State.

lol you people have zero self-awareness and all the hysterics of skyscreamer.

this is a huge leap. someone questioning a clearly slanted blog that no one has heard of does not mean they have:
"no problem with the government seizing people's assets with no cause whatsoever, then forcing them to prove their innocence in order to get it back."

Update from local news station

LINK

'Federal authorities have suffered two new court setbacks in their attempt to confiscate tens of millions of dollars seized from Beverly Hills safe deposit boxes that the government was legally barred from searching.

U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner, in rulings issued Friday, rejected prosecutors’ rationale for keeping the cash that two people stored in the boxes they rented at the U.S. Private Vaults store on West Olympic Boulevard.'
