I have been following this LA mayor shite fest (pratt vs bass) and all the sudden realized i have no idea who is my mayor. I have lived in 10 cities in my lifetime and don't know any of the mayor's names.

Sure, i could google lt but not that interested.

Has your mayor made an impact on your life?

Yes... Kiesha Lance Bottoms was woefully negligent and let Atlanta burn during the summer of love in 2020. There were folks burning buildings a few blocks from where I lived and I almost packed my shite and went to stay with my parents.

She's humorously trying to make a run for Governor after dropping out of the mayoral race. I hope she wins the nomination so she can get smoked by either Jackson or Burt.

Knew the old mayor, but couldn't vote since I don't live in the city limits.

yup met him at the grand opening of our local Torchys tacos! Nice guy. I was there because they had media and my kid (football) was there with a few teammates. Coaches order.

I knew Kip Holden.

I invited him to come and speak to my 8th graders. He spoke with them on 2 different occasions.

That woman who replaced him would walk away from me when she saw me walking towards her.

I’ve never met Sid.

Yes. Our kids go to the same HS and have been involved in the same activities, so we've chatted a couple times.

That sounds like something somebody that doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground would say.

Sadly, this is what 90% of Baton Rouge considers to be a qualification for becoming mayor.

I can’t vote for Hammond mayor but I know mayor Pete pretty well. He’s a nice enough guy and most likely is not stealing from the taxpayers. But he’s been short timing it since the last election

Hammond has one maybe two white mayors left, after that it will be the usual playbook
