However, her prospects are incredibly slim. She is very upfront about not wanting to have step kids, and all the single guys she finds attractive in her age range and her perceived “status” are not interested and focusing their attention on younger, better looking women with more child bearing years ahead of them
It’s like clockwork. As soon as the spring Disney adult threads die off we get stuck with the endless summer threads about concerns about universal female despair because they chose jobs instead of kids.
I never thought I’d look forward to the upcoming season thread change questioning if adult men should wear jerseys. Yet here we are.

Her two potential negatives are that she has a 9 and 11 year old and she is a ball of energy. No matter what time of day I see her and no matter what the circumstance, she comes across like someone who chugged 3 energy drinks and they all kicked in 2 seconds ago.
Sounds amazing but extremely high potential for disaster.
A low energy partner can be a major drag, while someone who is looking for the next adventure can be a lot of fun.
But if that high energy is put more towards making sure every single want and need of her 9 and 11 year old are instantly fulfilled or that her gorgeous 7k sqft home is in tip top shape 24/7 or that the 11 PM email get's answered before 11:15, that sounds like a fricking nightmare.
If she is anything like some women I've known in a past life, she will tell you that she's anxious and exhausted all the time caring for her kids/responsibilities at work/keeping up the house but if you snapped your fingers and magically gave her a weekend free of her normal responsibilities, she'd fill that time with new chores, new projects and new responsibilities within about 15 minutes.

I don’t understand why young women can’t do both at the same time. Focus on a career and have time for a relationship/ family.
They act like we’d care if they work longer hours and travel early in their career to try to make it. Most guys would love the alone time.
Women aren’t having children until their 30s now anyway. You have 10 career years without the responsibility of children to focus on your career.

The vast, vast majority of them do.
We just don't get threads about normal people being normal.

They can. And most normal ones do. Husband, good career, kids, a retirement. All that shite is pretty typical. Seeing threads like this as often as I do reinforces the multitude of reasons for this countries "male loneliness epidemic".

Thats crazy because there is a family member on my wife's side who is in his mid-50s and has recently developed severe anxiety and frustration about his state of affairs.
Hook them up! If they don’t end up having kids they can at least go on some cool trips. Love is in the air…

Secret sauce (me thinks): find mate / best friend early in life, build it together, as a team. Whatever “it” is you want built.
Don’t look back!
Enjoy your days together from there.

No good looking woman of any age who likes sex will ever have to worry about the shallow pool of men, especially one with her own money.
Most men don't take care of themselves once they get past 50. Especially after a lifetime of working outside and the high stress of providing for 30-40 years.
I know lots of fit, financially independent women in their 60's that can't find a man who don't have a list of co-morbidities.
But back to the OP: I'm very happy my wife wanted to go back to school and get another degree. Now I'm happily retired early, thanks darling.

She sounds awful. Doesn't matter what she looks like. I hung out with enough coke heads in college and law school. I don't need that vibe now.

So she's ugly. Got it. You could have led with that.

I notice you didn't mention her body count.

Most men would be interested in that setup if she’s a decent, reasonable person in other ways.
Does she do other things that are a turn off to most men? Is she too controlling? Does she complain too much? Does she fart a lot?
Some other attributes of hers must be turning everyone off.

What city is she in baw?

she should create an account on Reddit. Plenty of dudes over there with no prospects that could use a Sugar Momma.

Sounds like she's the problem...she needs to lower her standards. Beggars can't be choosers later in life.
This is exactly it. It's not that she doesn't have options, its the options she wants are looking for other things besides her.
She wants to marry up or at minimum sideways. The only problem is those men have a lot more options for younger and hotter, which is what a lot of them want. She is going to have to look down and that pisses her off and causes her to treat them badly and then they don't want her either.

quote:depends , if by 31 they making 3X to 4X the standard cost of living in an area ; they probably are on the path to corporate leadership or as an owner they have a nice business . Then, I can see a husband supporting them. However , if by 31 they are making $20,000 a year selling some MLM BS; naw bro, that’s not a career. Or, if they are at barely 1.5X the standard cost of living ; no again, there’s no good career movement for a husband to take a back seat.
Do women understand that men do not care about their careers.

Speak for yourself, marriage is also a financial contact.
Having two potential equal candidates, one a hairdresser in debt living paycheck to paycheck, renting …
The other is financially stable with a good money generating occupation and owns their own home…
Only an idiot would not factor that in the selection process
