Do women understand that men do not care about their careers. Etc?

Have a family member in her mid 30s and has recently developed severe anxiety and depression about her state of affairs

She sidelined prioritizing family life to be hyper focused on her career, earning, and climbing the ladder

She has recently expressed a desire to meet someone, get married, have kids, etc

However, her prospects are incredibly slim. She is very upfront about not wanting to have step kids, and all the single guys she finds attractive in her age range and her perceived “status” are not interested and focusing their attention on younger, better looking women with more child bearing years ahead of them

She is also is bewildered why guys don’t seem interested in her 6 figure salary and nice condo over looking the city. Some guy she was seeing ended up moving on to a younger girl that worked as a bank teller part time, and she was confused.

Got pics? I might be interested. I’d be happy to bang a broad who brought in a nice salary

Thats crazy because there is a family member on my wife's side who is in his mid-50s and has recently developed severe anxiety and frustration about his state of affairs.

He sidelined family life for decades to focus on building his business and accumulating wealth.

He has recently expressed a desire to find someone, maybe remarry, enjoy his money with a partner, etc.

However, his prospects turn out to be full of women who are only interested in what he has, not who he is. He's very upfront that he wants someone who genuinely cares about him, not his bank account, but most of the women in his age range and above his perceived "status" who show interest seem to disappear the moment money isn't flowing freely — expensive dinners, trips, gifts — and reappear when it is.

He's also bewildered that the women who do seem to want to know him as a person, not his portfolio, tend to be a lot less interested in the penthouse and the cars than the ones chasing him. One woman he was seeing turned out to be maintaining two other "arrangements" with older men at the same time, and he was completely blindsided.

Im so forever grateful that my wife doesnt have career ambitions. She wants to be a good mother, hates cats, and keeps the house spotless.

Posts like this help remind me I won the lottery.

No good looking woman of any age who likes sex will ever have to worry about the shallow pool of men, especially one with her own money.

Women have been screwed over really badly by the feminist movement.

And they don't even have a clue.

Getting sex and getting a husband are two completely different things

Yes. A woman can go to a bar and get laid if she’d like.

But cannot necessarily get an upper tier husband quality guy to marry them if they wish

I've noticed many women don't handle workplace stress as well as men do. They don't compartmentalize as well. They usually end up taking out their frustrations on their husband and the husband is supposed to think that's cool because "she feels comfortable around him" or some jazz like that. I've dated women with high stress careers before and quickly moved on. It's not that I found them working distasteful or improper, it's that they couldn't compartmentalize the stress and leave work drama at work.

When I was single in my 30s, I learned very quickly that I did not want to marry or even date long term a career oriented woman. It seems good on paper to double your income, but the mindset of these is typically always in competition mode. They also seem to love stress and do everything they can to appear to hate trying to juggle too many things at once when in actuality they crave it and hearing about it is never ending.

Also most of what they’re juggling are non critical issues, but they make it seem like the world will end if they don’t beat some obscure deadline.

Have a coworker with a great job, recently divorced with 3 kids. In her 40’s.

She hasn’t even stuck her toe in the dating pool yet and she’s getting upwards of 50 messages a day on social media of dudes shooting their shot.

She’s actually talking to a dude in his 40’s who’s never been married, has a great job and no kids and is seriously fit.

Women have more options than you think.

It’s because women (men also to a degree) conflate what makes them “formidable” within their own sex with what makes them attractive to the opposite sex.

While the “girl boss career woman pathway” is new, the idea itself is pretty old. It’s the same circuitry that makes women spend hours on makeup and buy expensive purses and shoes.

Or men who spend a ton on cars or build their lives around lifting and muscle gains.

Yep and they don’t want you to solve it or give advice. They just like to complain about it to you. If I’m ever dealing with something I just solve the problem. Because bitching about it to people does not help anything. Plus nobody cares

Men also do not care about living in an apartment looking at a city.

Why do women use works like condo, townhome, loft, etc? It’s an apartment. You live in an apartment.

It isn’t all that hard. Let her complain while you’re imagining her naked. When she’s done, agree with her and kiss her. Cop a few feels. Move on, have sex later when the kids go to bed and she’ll be ready to do it again the next day.
