It irritates me and I definitely lose respect for those that do it. I don't care who it is, if they kneel for the anthem, I'm no longer a fan of them.

Convey your message in a different way.

I find it disrespectful although it is their right

Just think if people put the effort of protesting & screaming about what’s wrong with this country & started cleaning up graffiti, taking old people groceries, building community gardens

I don't really care. It's their right to do such, but this thread is proof of why the players shouldn't do it anymore. Instead of actually discussing the issues they are "protesting", it immediately turns into an argument about disrespecting the flag/anthem/country. At some point you need to look at the way you are protesting and say this isn't getting the message across. But then again, most of the players just want their woke points.

Care? Not really. Its sheepish behavior based on a falsehood, but we have millions of examples of this throughout history.

I gave up on pro sports long before this fiasco.

We need a politics extinction event to sweep across athletics and purge our sacred institutions of the current cancer.

Exterminating it completely won't be sufficient, nor would removing evidence of the practice from history and art save future generations of it. Cheating is primal natural to a competitor. Only true pride can save a contender from the need to win at all costs, that level of self-awareness is simply not a common enough trait among us. It will simply return within a generation unless something was established to combat it.

We need at least one Mutual Exclusion Amendment to The Constitution. Sports, especially ones that are National Treasures like Football, must be protected from other really important but dangerous and corrosive agents : politics.

If every white Person protesting would give up their wealth gained through white supremist America, all these issues would be settled.

They protest so they don't have to give up anything.

I find the act annoying and irrelevant, but it's clearly in the realm of the First Amendment - so no politician should be making a huge deal of it on the right.

I also wouldn't care if the business owners made their employees stand, since they're on the clock in the company uniform when all of this goes down.

I do worry when I see "all" the players protesting. If this happens, then mathematically at least a few of them must be kneeling against their will - and their 1st Amendment rights are being challenged due to peer pressure from their co-workers.

I go to sports for an escape from that bullshite. If an athlete wants to comment on Politics, he should do so on his own time, not during the games broadcast.

I care because it seams the announcers don't stop talking about it during the broadcast. I rarely begin watching the games before they start, and don't want to hear political BS during the game, even if I agree with their viewpoint.

I hate the kneeling Bc the basis for the kneeling is a fantasy of oppression and white supremacy which does not exist and yet is fueling all the violence and liberal bullshite we are seeing today. And maybe more people will care when police departments are defunded or they’re sent a reparations bill.

I don’t give a crap about the kneeling. That is a personal decision, doesn’t really have anything to do with the league. The active league pandering has gone too far though.

Came here to say something along these lines. The same people who claim they love this country and don't agree with BLM are the ones still tuning into all these sports that indorse this terrorist group.

Have a little back bone and stand up for what is right.

Yankees, Nationals did it right yesterday. They did their peaceful protest before the anthem and all stood for the National Anthem. I have no problem with that.

Like these athletes say "you wouldn't understand" yep I don't understand why these people pick this time to show THEIR agenda and disrespect the flag. Guarantee alot of those dead 18 and 19 year old kids killed serving their country would love to attended a game with family and friends but never got the chance. frick all those kneeling bitches. Athletes kneel to protest their supposed oppression but have no problem cashing millions of dollars in checks from white team owners.

I don't really care, but I have an opinion on it. Don't throw a bitch fit when you ask my opinion and it doesn't jive with yours; see: Dree Brees.
