I don’t give a shite as long as they play the game. They can sit on each others faces pregame for all I give a shite.

The Flag stands for Unity (United States of America) so if you kneel in its presence when the tradition is to stand..... then there is no other interpretation that disrespect.
Give these people their own flag to kneel to
Give these people their own flag to kneel to

It used to bother me a lot. Now i just dont care because i know the only reason they do it, is because they know it will piss people off. If we stop giving it attention, it loses it's power.

Of course they do. The better question is why do they care? I don’t bc I don’t get triggered by shite like that. I can be patriotic and not whine about someone else expressing their views whether I agree with it or not. It isn’t like this is some 100 year old tradition. People get triggered by this bc they can’t take someone disagreeing with them. Another question... how many of us start our work day with the National Anthem?

in this case, yes.
The things being protested are things that you'll never have to deal with or worry about. So of course you don't want it in sports or care to hear about it. You have been afforded that privilege. Go you.

Do blacks really care about someone using the N word?
Want to tell us which race actually uses that word the most?
Do blacks really care about statues? Or do they just become offended when told to do so?

as a veteran, I really couldn't give a shite whether people stand, kneel, or sit on there arse while the NA is played. Doesnt really make any sense that they play it before sports events anyway. Always did seem out of place to me.

Yep. Cops never kill unarmed white people. I guess most of them forgot their white privilege card at home that day.

cop killings is just a vehicle for other underlying issues. Don't be so short-sighted

And what about black people that don't want politics in sports?

They're not really black. Trust a pudgy, pasty white guy like Lester on that one.

Imagine being this clueless. I’ve been from Asheville to Houston to Orlando this week and I’ve had conversations in each location, or overheard them talking, and people in each of place “care”. The people for it love it and the people against it despise it.
