To me it is very wrong to knell during the anthem for many obvious reasons. I'm completely against it. HOWEVER, if you wanna do it and look like a clown doing it, then you have every right to do that. I won't lose sleep over it.

If you really want to feel good about sports and this country again, I encourage you to watch the service academies' football games this year. I have watched them when I could the last few years and it is so refreshing to see true scholar athletes complete in a manner that respects the sport and the country. Watch the entire game...from the singing to the National Anthem at the beginning to the end of the game when they sign their alma mater song and then go the their opponents end zone and stand respectfully for the signing of their alma mater song.

I wish professional athletes included the element of death in their sport, similar to auto racing. That would justify their salary and be worth watching.

It never had its place in sports to begin with. The national anthem before sports events never was a good idea. I just wish they would end doing it like they should have long ago, or better yet, never started doing it. It's especially pointless now.

I don't care enough to go to the stadium and boo the athlete, but I do care enough not to watch again.

It was a little weird at first but I never lost sleep over it

Could not give less of a frick now. The people bitching about it annoy me more, tbh.
