Surely it wasn’t a white woman striking back at the patriarchy? So brave, and so oppressed.

I prefer the other crazy plane lady

When the plane pulls up to the gate, I just stay in my seat and let all the idiots stand in the aisle, and shuffle out. I wait till the aisle is mostly clear before I walk out. The last flight I was on, there were several others that did the same as me. Sit down and wait on the plane or stand up and wait at baggage claim. What’s the difference?

The ones that try to squeeze to the front are bad, but just as bad are the ones that patiently wait their turn and once the row in front of them exits they THEN decide that it is an appropriate time to grab their bag from under the seat, put away their laptop, grab their jacket, take off their headphones, all while standing in the aisle. Disembarking an airplane makes me irrationally angry at other people.

I agree
If I’ve checked bags I much rather wait in a seat
If I’ve checked bags I much rather wait in a seat

Oh hell yeah.
I rarely check bags, but if I do, sometimes golf clubs, I'll just wait my arse in the chair for a long time. No point if you just need to go stand at a baggage claim.

It should be standard procedure where you get a voucher when you board if you have a connection. You have to hold up said voucher when landing to get up first/exit plane. I dont know why they won't do this. It would save all of us this bullshite.

That's a good idea. I have no problem letting people off first who have to catch a tight connection, but if you just want off ahead of me, but a seat closer to the door. I want to get off too.

Wouldn't mind that at all. It will never happen, but planes should disembark in columns. Left side aisle seat, then right side aisle seat. Then left side middle, then right middle, etc. Doesn't necessarily have to alternate left to right, but the general procedure works like that. Eliminates most of the backup from people getting backs as nobody is in anyone's way getting them down and waiting on people to exit rows, etc.

I'm all in favor of the government using my tax dollars to take over and operate Spirit Airlines and if you meet a certain profile, you fly on that airline only. You ever been escorted off another airline, you fly Spirit from now on. You show up to the airport in your pajamas and hair rollers, you fly Spirit. If you can not talk in a clam controlled, discernable English speaking manner, Spirit is the airline for you.
Israel did this years ago when the exploding people were hijacking a lot f other plane and killing their passengers. They made a special airline for the terrorists as said you fly over there, you can't be trusted.
But honestly this is why I don't fly anymore. I know my limits and I do not want to go to prison.

the majority of people on the flight have connections, airlines build their schedules with connection times sufficient to traverse from gate to gate, if a flight or flights are running late they are aware of the connections and usually, not always, hold the flights for late inbound arrivals, the flight attendants are informed of passengers on their flights with min connection times and typically make PAs asking that passengers with no connection, or adequate connection times, to please let the passengers with min connection times, deplane first
