Rds mentioned it earlier, but the HWRF is sticking to the pinhole eye at Yucatán landfall, then the gaping hole in the GOM.

Splash should be opened if it gets canceled.

guess that depends on what part of parish.
i’m in Montegut on eastern end.

we are exposed as hell and vulnerable from the south east.
this one coming from the southwest instead ill actually be pushing water to the more protected parts of the parish than Andrew did.

From Montegut as well. Lili took made landfall in Intracoastal City in '02 and f'd shite up in Montegut with the surge.

A Morgan City landfall won't be much better. Thankfully the levees have been built up since then.

So looking at the wind map/whatever it's called that was posted, I'd be in the west eye wall. FUN!

OK slack so mark your bingo card but based on "now", Vermilion Parish would be worse than with Laura, correct?

So decision time is Thursday for us in the NOLA area?

I'm fine riding out a Cat 1-2 that has always been that way.

I'm less willing to ride out a Cat 4 that we hope will be a Cat 1-2 at landfall.

Also really bearish on Delta in the last day or so before landfall.

Degraded from a Cat 4 to a middle of the road Cat 2.
