Sounds like you failed to teach your kids a strong work ethic and to appreciate what they inherit.

Lol, the kids may not be getting the money through the actual inheritance itself but they're still going to get the money anyway through whatever schemes they cook up and the brand of their names and whatever networking they have.

Cracks me up when these rich liberals virtue signal their pull theirselves up by their bootstraps crap like we don't know any better.

If I die with $10 or $10,000,000 it is all going to my kiddos. The only reason I exist is to make sure they are taken care of and that they can do the same for their kids one day too.

Imagine believing it's "fricking over" your own children if you don't splash them with tens of millions of unearned dollars. No doubt you are also one of the constant bleaters about Gen Y/Z being lazy and the ruination of society.

Beyond that, one who was normal would want their kids and grandkids to have less of a financial burden to carry out of pure love for them. Just bizarre!

What’s wrong with this?

Surely, if you’ve the means for it, leave your progeny a bit of a head start. But if you had a certain interest into say, woodworking, maybe leave behind a part of your estate to the furtherance of woodworking And the provenance of woodworkers.

We build, in our lives, a certain amount of capital to our hobbies.

Quite often our hobbies don’t align with that of our grown children.

So it seem only logical that, once our children are adequately compensated for, the remaining wealth should go to the furtherance of things we cared about in our earthly lives I.E. our hobbies.

They're benefactors of his current life and likely have every opportunity and financial backing they could ever dream of. Now. That's some pretty damn good setup if you ask me. I admire his motivation.

I’m going to take a surprising turn here.
If i were ever to amass a fortune, outside of his or her kingly right, I would want the most worthy jacobin to inherit it.
While a worthy successor would certainly produce a worthy pedigree, if the general public found them insufficient to lead then for certain any figure that emerged would say the same?

It's his money and his kids so it is his business what he does with it but it seems strange that he doesn't think his own kids should have his money but strangers do.

Maybe he won’t, or maybe he’s just saying this publicly to ward off the pretty-boy gold diggers from trying to marry his daughters.

Some of his comments make sense. I would leave them something in a trust, but they don't need $160M to live on, so giving a lot to charity is honorable.

I know with Ramsey some of his kids are involved/working with some of his projects so they’ll still get something.

I don’t disagree with the notion of kids working for it though. Having worked around some serious trust fund babies, the best ones were ones that while they didn’t go without were told no every now and again and made to work for at least some of what they have.

Daniel, I can be reached via phone or email 24 hours a day. I don’t want the whole $160M. Holla at your boy and I’ll let you know what I had in mind. TTYS.

If you think about that for a second, it's that an oxymoron?
