I mean you have to be very new to Sports to expect big time results in year 1....Meyer, Saban, Kirby, Bowden, Pete C, Miles, etc have had growing pains in year one. To judge Kiffin in year one unless he does extremely well or only wins 4 games would be insane.

You do not need as much time with portal like you used to, but Sports are Sports. Can't be fixed in year 1..having insane expectations will only leave you angry.

Wele beat them down at their own house by double digits...they have a very bad Athletic program...no titles in any of the 3 major male sports in a long time.

I'm guessing 8-5..new coaching staff needs to rebuild their first season. I think you can't judge a coach until year 3..unless it is very clear he is bad or great.

Most coaches need at least a year before they can but a great team together...shite even Meyer, Smart, Saban etc had tough first years. It would be insane to expect much till year 2+. Growing pains are there for every coach.
