Yup. While he might give a lot away. The kids are still getting and living a large amount.

Just like all the billionaires who are supposedly doing this, all while setting their kids up in the infrastructure of the billion dollar charities they created.

That didn't answer my question.

I figured that me already stating I didn't want it would be example of me saying yes.

But, yes. I would. I would probably just see if I could just not take it and leave it to the estate or whatever. Not everyone in my family has the same views as me and maybe they want the money.

He is, but the message remains a good one. Spare the rod, spoil the child and all that.

Because I don’t have one

I don’t care about my inheritance because it’s probably nothing significant and I never expected anything but if my multi millionaire father gave away generational wealth rather than pass it to me it would probably ruin our relationship.

Do it with incentives tied to milestones.

In order to get $X by aged 21 here’s what you have to do. Then by age 30, 40 and 50.

Then it’s up to them.

This is my approach, too. You want me to pay for college? Fine, but on the back end and no bullshite degrees. Get loans to pay for school and at the end, if you've chosen wisely and performed well, that debt gets erased.

If you don't, daddy's getting some machineguns instead.

Doubt it and Gordon Ramsay's daughter is already a social media star in a way. The inheritance is the name/connections/network. They get the full advantage of the wealth as kids and it pays off as adults. The wealthy take care of each other, marry each other, partner with each other etc.

These types of sentiments always make me scratch my head. So instead of the money going to your children and grandchildren, you’re going to dump money on NPOs and have no idea who’s benefitting from it.

Here’s a novel idea. Be a good parent and teach your kid to value the right things in life and they won’t end up spoiled arseholes.

You likely aren't expecting 160 million.

Pretty much. Why billionaires can give away all their money instead of giving it to the kids. The kids don't need it.

And if they do that amount of money would kill them.

Pretty fricking stupid imo. You don’t have to give them everything but according to google he’s worth $160 million. Why you wouldn’t give your children a leg up with 5-10 mil a piece minimum is beyond ridiculous.
