I blame people like Jesse Smollett, Seth Dunlap, etc. There have been so many hoaxes that when something like this really happens the victim is met with skepticism.
I don't know if this one is legit or not. We'll find out soon enough.

I’m sorry I just find it hard to believe, at a school during recess, no one witnessed three boys assaulting a girl on the playground. It’s preposterous.

3 white boys on a black girl and she didn’t say anything at all?
You know, this reminds me of when kids are little and do stupid shite like cut hunks out of their hair and then say someone else did it.
Maybe she did it herself and just threw three random white boys under the bus.
I mean, she should be able to identify them and present evidence, right? They won’t have alibis

I’d be willing to bet the girl cut her own hair, realized after cutting some of it off that it was a bad idea, she then tried to hide it, but grandma finds out a few days later, girl is afraid she’ll get punished so makes up story blaming the boys.
Why would she want to cut her own hair?? 2 reasons:
1) one of the popular girls probably said something about her hair (likely on social media because that’s what kids do)...girl finds out, cuts hair, but doesn’t want to say that popular girl made fun of her, so lies.
2) there probably aren’t many kids at the school with dreads, girls wants to fit in and have hair like other kids, ends up cutting dreads, makes up story so she doesn’t get in trouble

Somebody’s not been paying attention to the news lately. There’s literally dozens if not more of these “hate crimes” that have been proven false in the last couple of years. Jussie, poop swasticka, Clarke Perkins, Lebron’s driveway, etc etc etc.
When the boy keeps crying wolf, eventually you stop running out to chase it away...

Let’s not forget that is the age when girls and boys are still often the same size. This isn’t like three grown men holding down a petite woman. I hate to say it but I doubted this from the first second I saw the story. So much of it just sounds like bullshite. If this turns out to be false, rather than report on it and ask how a little girl was raised in such a way as to cry “racist” in order to avoid trouble watch the media run away to let the story fade.
