Lol ok.
Moved to Nashville in 96 after living in baton rouge, new Orleans and Houston and it's still the best decision of my life.
Outside of Memphis this state is perfect.

Every town in the middle column is growing and I imagine most in the left column are as well. The crime rates in Appalchia can be shocking at times. Meth, heroin and pills have done a # on those mountain population centers the last 30 years.

Louisiana and Mississippi were at the bottom of most metrics including economy, infrastructure, and education.
North Carolina, Texas, and Florida scored fairly high in most metrics.
