Where the frick are the decent women leaders calling out the Clancy supporters?

Are all women secretly hoping this gives them an out of a situation they don't like (parenting) without spending their lives in jail for murder?

I think this is an understated part of the "gender wars"

There is very little mainstream voice to run against the herd for American women. On Clancy, on how women are using the apps, on how women are treating marriage and children generally, on OF and the like, etc.

I keep thinking if Clancy were on trial for strangling 3 Golden Doodle puppies, a guilty verdict would be unanimous and in less than an hour the first day. These "Mama Bear" women are forking nuts.

I guess it my kid has a woman teacher from now on I need to ask if she has had a kid in the past year. If so, I'll get her moved to another classroom.

Judge should lose his seat for not sequestering. Either deliberate jury corruption or an absolute dumbass.

IIRC it's pretty rare for a jury, in a trial this long, to be sequestered. Should they have been? Probably but doing so curtails your jury pool even more because the majority of people can't be away from their families and kids for 3+ weeks.

With that said this was always going to be a hung jury because of the young women on the jury and the state did a horrible job up until the closing statement. In a retrial hopefully the state does a better job and narrows the focus a bit.

New note from the jury room today will probably say....

We are unable to reach a verdict and continue to be deadlocked. We need to get mani and pedi's as we have been stuck here for 3 weeks and unable to maintain our appearance. Please declare mistrial immediately.

Sincerely,

Some juries are sequestered only during deliberations

Seems like a great way to get 12 people to reach a decision

If she gets off, this is going to set women's rights back to the stone age. Employers will be able to use hormones as a valid reason to not hire a women that just had a kid and use this case as a precedent.

A woman in Illinois killed her 2 year old then tried to kill herself last night.

This world is so lost.

Would have been the best outcome for all parties. No trial and no hormonal defense sees the light of day.

Lol 100% chance that he would be arrested, tried (and probably convicted) of the murder of the kids as well in that case.

My guess is murder 1 is off the table and murder 2 probably is

Maybe they get manslaughter but my guess is a hung jury

If any one thinks she was insane, or might have been insane, they are not going to sign off on any charge.

I agree but I also think people on the other side of it are just as likely to give in. I would never compromise on this case. Its first degree.

Jury still hung. Court TV says "jurors look frustrated as Tuey-Rodriguez charge read." Judge sent them back to deliberate further.
