But I firmly believe that the Prosecution will learn some lessons from this one and all the things they fricked up

The prosecution is more likely to obtain a conviction if the case actually goes to a second jury trial, though most hung-jury cases never reach a full retrial.

The best available data comes from the National Center for State Courts study Are Hung Juries a Problem? (Hannaford-Agor et al., 2002), which has been repeatedly cited in later legal scholarship.

After a hung jury:
• Only about 32% of cases were refiled for another jury trial.
• Roughly 32% ended in a guilty plea.
• About 22% were dismissed.

Of the cases that did go to a second jury trial:
• ~69–70% ended in conviction
• ~19% ended in acquittal
• ~8% hung again
• ~4% ended in another type of mistrial

Among retrials that produced a verdict, the conviction rate was therefore around 78%.

Is it possible to find a whole new jury that isn't biased one way or the other by this story?

With the insane stances we're seeing from ugly women and radical spinsters, I'd imagine at least one of them will say whatever it takes to get onto the next jury just to frick the whole thing up again.

I don't understand how anyone could see this situation and think this woman deserves to ever see the light of day again. You can quibble about the death penalty, but she stole three young lives viciously and premeditated.

Honestly shocked it’s allegedly just two. Not shocked to find out that they’re younger.

The idea that a woman is being punished for ‘her trauma’ breaks the foundational rules underpinning this hyperreality.”

Rockwell’s tweet hits on a wild dynamic with social media, influencers, and modern narcissism.

Basically, influencer culture (driven mostly by millennial and Gen Z women) monetizes the self—your life, feelings, and "lived experience" literally become the product. Algorithms then build an echo chamber around these creators, rewarding them with likes and money every time they center themselves or share their emotional struggles.

Over time, this creates a bubble where personal feelings are treated as absolute truth. Add in modern "therapy speak" (using terms like “trauma” or “gaslighting” to shut down critique), and it turns emotional vulnerability into an unbeatable defense shield where you can never be wrong but only the men are wrong or anyone who offers a different perspective.

When real-world accountability finally hits—where objective facts and actual consequences apply regardless of how you feel—it completely shatters the self-created hyperreality.
