Those days and weeks after 9/11 were some of my biggest.

19 years old

Pissed off

Churches overflowing that first Sunday afterwards. I remember ours having to set up closed circuit viewing rooms because the crowd was so large at our little church.

the George Bush bull horn ground zero moment

Mets playing the first game in NY after 9/11 on 9/21 and Piazza blasting a homer in the 8th and the stadium going crazy.

Jets vs Patriots on 9/23

The Yankee Stadium Memorial on 9/23

Bush walking outa t at Game 3 of the WS in Yankee Stadium and throwing the first pitch.

A lot of emotions over those first 2 months.
The answer is no, we can do better than a pussified pacifist.

This song screams will kick your tail.
F this country roads stuff

That match deserves Toby Keiths Courtesy of the Red White and Blue
wait you expect congress to do something?

Have you not paid attention to the SAVE Act for the last 6 months.

Expecting that group of idiots to do anything other than status quo is laughable.
He probably left out leaving the truck on the lot for 2 months.

Didn’t pull this off

He tried, failed, hired Learfield to do the job.

What do we pay him to do exactly?
The bad part for HY is he has sucked so bad on the money/fundraising/NIL side that nobody in the fanbase trusts him.

Even though he wants to keep the financial details private, he kind of has to release them because this deal looks so bad at face value, you have to prove yourself. Unless this deal is so bad you can't show it.

John Williams (connected enough to know) said they were looking for a 20 yr, 100 Mil commitment.

Hunter said they tried to do this privately, but had no success.

Everybody is selling the ohh but its a company looking to expand in Arkansas which is what we were most likely to get.

So instead of a much more profitable partner we pull the Save-A-Lot grocery store bank whose VP of Marketing is a first class douche whose fresh off his probation for forcing himself on a woman.

Some say this is more like a 10 yr, 50 mil commitment.

I suspect its way worse than that but we'll probably never know.
Official Banking partner of the Kansas City Chiefs

Community America Crown Club at the KC Royals Ballpark.

Thats powerhouse credentials.

If you’re wanting scale of assets.

First Security Bank 7.8 Bil
Community America 4.6 Bil

FirstBank who holds Vandys naming rights assets of 16 bil

Kroger has their name on UK’s Stadium

We got the small town bank that nobody uses name on our stadium.

Hunter said they tried the private route but nobody was interested. Its because you suck Hunter.

Jon Williams says they were asking for 20 yr, 100 mil commitment
So that's what a 100k donation and a $50 savings bond per player will get you these days?

Hunter fleeced by Learfield just like he was the bozo's running the NIL fund.

NWA is filled with Fortune 500 Companies, yet none of them want their name associated with our crap football program and AD. If it wasn't for John Henry Tyson rescuing the basketball hire and backing that play we'd be an absolute crap show at the moment.

FIRE HUNTER!!

Also, frick DVH for dropping the regional to Kansas, this is great trolling material for RockChalk on tRant. A Kansas based company would rather prop up a failing football program in Arkansas than in Lawrence.
What he was projected to get - 15 mil over 5 years

What he will get at best - 4.5 over 3 years. If he slips to mid 2nd he could be looking at 2 way money (580k/yr)

What he could have gotten at 16th pick next year. 19 mil over 5 years.

I’d kick my own rear daily.

NBA Draft

Acuff to the Kings @ 7

Thomas and Taliban still on the board for round 2.

Kings have the 34 & 45 pick in round two and need a shooter and a long wing.

Could it happen?

Also, is Thomas kicking himself? At best he gets rookie minimum 1.5 for 2/3 years.

Had he came back and worked himself i to a late lottery pick he makes closer to 19m over 5 years

I’d kick myself for the remainder of my life losing out on that many millions.

Memphis has pick 32 so he could land there if they don’t trade the pick.
If Dallas wanted a legit point they missed that boat. Trading up for Acuff was their best shot at that.

Watching Cenac is painful. Kid had no business coming out.

Eta- thank goodness. Was feeling sorry for the kid.
I still think he ends up in Dallas, which I would like.
Leek to New York?????

Knicks traded to the Lakers, they took Carr.

Knicks need outside shooting, Leek is the best shooter left.
